MEDICAL ALERT

Past President of Imperial Bird Club, Richard Pearson was diagnosed with cancer on June 24th, 2009.  The cancer is throughout his body.  He has started radiation treatments.  Please add him and his family to your daily prayers.  He is also Past President of the Florida Federation of Aviculture and a bird enthusiast known to many.

The Imperial Bird Club meets on the third Thursday of each month at the VFW Hall of Auburndale, the address is 241 Lake Ave. East, Auburndale, FL. Doors open at 7 PM and the meeting begins promptly at 7:30 PM. The club is open to all who have an interest in birds. You don't have to own a bird to belong. The Board Meeting will be held every second Tuesday of the month. The location of the Board meeting is Denny's in Davenport, FL. All club members are encouraged to attend the Board Meetings. We are a non-profit organization and a member club of the  American Federation of Aviculture (AFA) and the Florida Federation of Aviculture (FFA).
The club objectives are:

  • To ensure the preservation and propagation of non-native caged birds
    in the United States.
  • To further the science of Aviculture.
  • To exchange knowledge, information, and experiences relative
    to caged birds.
  • To educate the general public on Avian matters.
